Protology is the study of first things. An Archetype being the primal or typical example of a thing. The Protological Archetype range of garments are a series in which the garments are reduced to the bare essence of the item, representing each product category. So there is a Pant, a shirt, a Coat, a Jacket, a Hoodie and so on....Each garment is reduced to it's essential components and form the foundation from which other variants in different complexity or simplicity will follow.
This example of the concept, developed as a hoodie, is a new concept of cutting where the garment is reduced to the minimum seams necessary without compromising the fit or look of the product.
The collar of the hoodie is cut onto the body, the hoodie has a single seam running from the upper back across the sides and to the front that forms the two front pocket of the garment. The shape of the hoodie at side and center back is achieved with a series of darts placed at strategic positions that allows for better fitment, range of motion and simplicity. the hood of the item is cut anatomically and has a drawstring details that allows the wearer to adjust the level of tightness according to his desire.
The body of the hoodie is made in a zip up format but has a bounded drawstring at the hem that also allows the wearer to adjust the tightness of the hoodie as desired. this variant of the hoodie is a zip front variant with an upper chest pocket that closes with a zipper.
